Sailing The Pacific

Hey Bloggers today we've been reading about a Book called Sailing the Pacific I am going to write a summary about the book:

The Article Sailing the Pacific is about a Voyager named kupe discovering New Zealand and what helped him to discover it. Kupe was a Great voyager and he used lots of ways to discover land. He would use the stars to travel east, west, north, and south. He would also use the birds because they
would go sea at night and then they would go to land at day so kupe would follow the birds to discover new lands. When kupe found New Zealand and said "Ha ao te a roa!" which means The long white cloud. Kupe took anchor stones.

Hello Bloggers today and yesterday I have a hoe waka(paddle) for a waka my hoe waka has  pacific and maori patterns. My pacific patterns represent my culture Niuean and Cook island. My maori patterns represent maori wakas and hoe waka.
