Niuean Languge Week

Faka lofa lahi atu boggers it was Niuean language week and I would like to teach you some words and facts about niue:

  • Fakaalofa lahi atu - Hello
  • ai iloa - I dont know
  • ai ma ama - I dont understand

  • koe kia - bye
  • malolo nakai a koe - how are you

Facts

  • Niue only has a population of 1,624 people
  • Niue has the highest coral
  • Niue is a standalone land mass in the centre of a triangle of Polynesian islands made up of Tonga, Samoa and the Cook Islands
  • Niue is 11 hours behind GMT(Greenwich Mean Time)
  • Niue uses New Zealand currency
